If you’ve seen a recent Nutrisystem commercial you might not remember what the going special was, but you probably remember seeing Marie Osmond’s lips. It is pretty obvious from the “trout pout” that she has had recent work done. When the upper lip is excessively plumped in comparison to the lower lip, the result often resembles that of a trout. While we do not condemn Marie Osmond for having any work done to promote her natural beauty, her lips are not quite up to the term “beautiful”.
Recent interviews with Marie Osmond confirm that she has had work done – and that she is open to having more done in the near future. While we at Kalos believe that women can diminish wrinkles and regain lost volume in certain facial features, we also know when too much is too much. Marie Osmond’s lip enhancements, whether they are strictly from injections or implants, prove that too much filler of any kind can create a look that is not desirable. Excess treatments can create a swollen, unbalanced appearance that is not one that comes across well on camera.
Because Marie Osmond is open to having plastic surgery, it may be wise for her to begin investigating the improvements she could make by having a face lift to tighten tissues around the mouth, jowls, and neck. Because injections like BOTOX have an increasing effect (meaning that over time, injections last longer and longer), Marie Osmond does not need any more filler in her mouth area. A more permanent solution is a much more aesthetically pleasing alternative for her.
