It is no secret that anyone on TV or the big movie screen is constantly under scrutiny for his or her appearance. However, perhaps none are more scrutinized than female news anchors. Seen almost every single day of the year, news anchors have a very difficult time masking any flaws on their faces. Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly is no stranger to being dissected – for her political views or her appearance. As a naturally beautiful woman, it is no surprise that Megyn has tried to maintain her good looks through make-up trends and hairstyles. These days, however, it is becoming more obvious that Megyn is taking more invasive methods to keep up her appearances.
Earlier pictures of Megyn Kelly reveal a much less polished look, as well as a difference in her facial features. As a news anchor in her mid-40s, Megyn has the appearance of someone much younger. Megyn has beautiful skin that has obviously been enhanced by the use of Botox injections. With no visible lines around her mouth or on her forehead, Botox has done a great job at keeping her true age a secret. While we admire Megyn Kelly for her audacious role on Fox News to bring the heat about issues she is passionate about, we do feel that Megyn needs to watch that she does not fall into the trap of excessive plastic surgery. Her eyes have already been altered to where they do not look like they did in her younger years, and the shape of her face has evolved to where it looks almost too masculine and stretched.
At Kalos Facial Plastic Surgery we understand the scrutiny that news anchors go through on a daily basis, but we also understand that there is a fine line between enhancing one’s appearance and overdoing it. With the expertise of Dr. Benjamin C. Stong, our patients are able to achieve knockout results without compromising the integrity of their true appearance.
